CONNECTing Study Update (Concussion Ontario Network:
Neuroinformatics to Enhance Clinical care and Translation)

- CONNECTing is a study within CONNECT currently being carried out via a
post-concussion baseline survey, at 10 clinical sites across the province. - This study aims to collect injury information, demographic data, health care
utilization, medical history, use of substances (alcohol, tobacco, marijuana),
symptoms experienced and effect on daily life (home, work, productivity). - Data collected through this study is stored electronically in a database
(Brain-CODE) developed and maintained by the Ontario Brain Institute. - The information we obtain from the study will improve understanding of
people who experience a concussion in Ontario and may in turn result in
improved supports.
